Stephen H. Byrd specializes in expert witness testimony, construction litigation and investigation, and financial due diligence. Mr. Byrd combines many years of involvement in all phases of construction with advanced degrees in Law and Accounting to provide a unique and unsurpassed combination of education and experience.
Mr. Byrd received a BS with Honors in Accounting from The University of Tennessee, followed by a Master of Accountancy (Tax Emphasis), and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He has been a member of The Homebuilders Association of Greater Knoxville, Home Builders of Tennessee, the Farragut Board of Licensing, and co-hosted the radio show “Today’s Homebuilder” for three years.
Having in-depth experience with developers, general contractors, public agencies, architects, engineers and corporate owners, Mr. Byrd can also coordinate a team of engineers and other witnesses for a complete package of expert witness testimony.
